Founder & CEO
Matthew J. Bondy
Matthew founded Bondy & Associates in 2024 as a fluently bilingual government relations and industry intelligence firm, anchored in Waterloo Region and serving clients across North America.
He served previously as Deputy Chief of Staff to Hon. Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, and in several senior private sector roles before founding B&A. Matthew is a Senior Fellow with the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, where he publishes extensively on foreign policy and national defence issues.
A committed civic leader and volunteer, Matthew currently serves as Chairman of Ontario’s Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee and as Vice-Chairman of the St. Jerome’s University Board of Governors among other roles.
Matthew is a former Army Reservist. He was awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 and the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025 for service to Canada.

Managing Director
Jazlyn Melnychuk
With a career that bridges national security and strategic communications, Jazlyn is a trusted advisor on actioning projects that serve Canada's national interest.
Jazlyn is the Research Manager for the Foreign Policy Program at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors for the NATO Association of Canada.
She previously worked as a Senior Consultant at Enterprise Canada and as an Advisor to an Assistant Deputy Minister at the Department of National Defence, preceded by several roles in communications and analysis within the department.
Her passion for defence also led her to the NATO Strategic
Communications Centre of Excellence in Latvia, and to co-found the Canada-NATO Field School in 2017. Jazlyn’s work is defined by a deep-seated commitment to building a more secure and prosperous future.​

Chief Operating Officer
Jessica Bondy
Jessica is an expert in operations, systems thinking, the not-for-profit sector, and team development.
As Chief Operating Officer, Jessica serves alongside the B&A team to optimize processes and support internal systems to ensure team and organisational success.
Jessica served as Executive Director at Oak Bridge Academy, Housing Director at House of Friendship, and spent 10 years in student services in higher education.
She is a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal and the University of Waterloo Alumni Achievement Award.
Jessica brings her passions in health, education, community systems and leadership to her work at B&A.​​​

Senior Strategic Advisor
Bryan May
Bryan May brings over a decade of political leadership and public service experience, having served as the Member of Parliament for Cambridge since 2015. Before entering politics, he held senior roles at the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, and the University of Waterloo.
In Ottawa, he championed the unanimously adopted Right-to-Repair law and served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, and Minister of Small Business.
Bryan is known for his collaborative, results-driven approach and deep understanding of how public policy impacts businesses, non-profits, and communities.​​​​

Director of Government Affairs
Scott Ramsay
Scott leverages a background in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and issues management to navigate complex political and regulatory landscapes for clients.
Previously, Scott served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Policy for the Ontario Minister of Colleges and Universities. He oversaw multi-billion-dollar policy initiatives and high-level stakeholder relations.

A seasoned political strategist, Scott has managed and advised on multiple provincial election campaigns, leading voter outreach, ground operations, and communications strategies that contributed to key electoral victories. Scott holds a Master’s in Political Management from Carleton University and a Bachelor’s in Political Studies from Queen’s University.​​

Senior Consultant, Industry Insights
Alexis Amini
Alexis is a subject matter expert in the aerospace and defence industry, previously working as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman and Avascent.
In these roles, he supported the Government of Canada with ITB value proposition, defence procurement strategy and options analysis for over $29 billion worth of capital programs.
Alexis conducted extensive market forecasting for major defence companies looking to enter new geographies and segments. Alexis also provided M&A due diligence support for private equity investing in the national security space.
Alexis leverages his industry expertise and management consulting insights to help B&A clients in nation-building industries navigate shifting market and legislative dynamics to achieve sustainable growth.

Executive Officer to the CEO
Chad Dance
Chad brings over a decade of experience in federal and provincial politics, supporting the organisation’s efforts to deliver strategic value to clients.

He has served in senior roles for both federal and provincial Members of Parliament, including as Communications Advisor to the Federal Minister of Science and Technology (and the Federal Economic Development Agency for Ontario), and as Executive Assistant to Ontario’s Minister of Children, Community & Social Services. Chad also successfully managed a provincial election campaign.

With a background in Political Science and Business Management, Chad offers a deep understanding of government and policy. His experience managing political offices and advising executive leaders—paired with a strong attention to detail—makes him a trusted partner to the CEO.

Consultant, Media & Legislative Monitoring
Brooke Richards
Brooke draws upon her experiences in federal and provincial politics, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs in serving B&A clients.

Most recently, Brooke served as Alumni Relations Coordinator at the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC), where she helped lead national programming to connect and mobilize a diverse network of politically engaged alumni, emphasizing the importance of multipartisanship.

Brooke’s public service experience includes working as a Special Assistant on Parliament Hill and as an Executive and Legislative Assistant in the Ontario Minister of Energy’s office.
